Chancery lane, latecomers, instant connections, doing our thing and ignoring the lectures, empathy for the homeless, common goals, hugs, working and training together, giggling, rescuing toads from the cat and taking them to safe haven, soda bread and soup (and some alcohol) in Carrigaline, sharing stories, saving me, smiles, the retreat where we had so much fun, giggles and growth, tending the flowers she brought me that still flourish today (I call them Julie), watching bats in the night, wrapped up with heavy warm coats and sipping mulled wine into the early hours, giggles, Lunan bay paddling in the sea and having deep conversations sharing our challenges, coaching each other and eventually agreeing that we were as mad as each other, hugs, dancing to gabrielle roth that marian gave to me, spirituality, precious stones, wine, pizza, kicking my backside, in awe at the cairn o mount, ice-cream in fettercairn and so much more.
